About the role: They are looking for a self-motivated Project Leader with mining experience to provide leadership to the project team(s) executing all the project activities related to the engineering, procurement, purchasing, logistics, quality, site technical assistance and commissioning key equipment.
Responsibilities:
Understand the project technical and commercial requirements, local conditions, statutory requirements.
Develop project schedule, project costing, and manage document control
Collaborate with stakeholders in order to manage customer change orders, facilitating the project team in making sound technical and commercial assessments and decisions.
Develop the risk identification and risk mitigation strategies, jointly working with team members and dealers on projects.
Assist the dealer project team in the development and execution of their project execution strategy, tactics, and transactional activities.
Selection Criteria:
Previous experience as a Project Manager within the mining sector
Previous experience within the mining sector or on a mine site is essential
Excellent client-facing communication skills
Knowledge of assembly techniques, manufacturing processes, engineering systems and procedures.
Cross-functional leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of mining products/vehicles and facility policies and procedures
The Benefits:
Long term contract engagement - 12 months initially
Client with minimum of 18 months' work a head
