Clicks' Client are seeking a Web Publishing Officer for an urgent 8 week contract. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Commission's website. The position is primarily responsible for ensuring that material is published in accordance with a range of whole-of-government requirements, the Commissions style guide and internal governance arrangements.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications, the responsibilities include:
Maintaining and developing the Commission's website ensuring ongoing accessibility and quick access to material
Liaise with IT and business stakeholders on website support issues
Preparing and publishing on the Commission's website in an environment of demanding timeframes where accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
Experience with Drupal 8 and working with websites hosted on the Gov CMS platform
Experience in website development and maintenance
Knowledge of government standards and policies related to website accessibility
Willingness to work after hours, or on-call, as necessary.
The ability to work effectively in high pressure environments with high workloads and tight timeframes
Excellent judgment, common sense and discretion and strong communication skills
An active Baseline Security Clearance.
