Business Analyst

Environment

As a Business Analyst you will support the StudentOne platform team, working closely with the Lead BA as they transition their custom software to out of the box solutions. This position requires expertise in bridging the gap between business process analysis and redesign and identifying requirements that align within SaaS constraints. You will have demonstrable experience in configuring StudentOne and working alongside application developers and enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, timeframes and quality.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise requirements aligned with SaaS constraints.
• Configure StudentOne workflows, user roles, financial processes, and reporting structures to meet business needs.
• Evaluate and optimise system processes, identifying automation opportunities for scalability.
• Support system testing, UAT, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with developers.
• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support for system users.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with expertise in StudentOne (2024a or later preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in process analysis and system optimisation.
• Experience with the StudentOne platform or similar student management software is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of system testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with agile methodologies or project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to student data (TCSI, etc.).
