A leading Defence software team is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Systems Trainer for a 12-month contract, based in Canberra. The successful candidate will join a small team within the Business Unit and will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training sessions to Defence personnel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, facilitate, and conduct training sessions, both face-to-face and virtually.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment and independently.
- Engage and work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adapt quickly to changing ICT software and learn software changes for training delivery.
- Manage time effectively and communicate clearly.
- Focus on deliverables and outcomes in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and conduct engaging training sessions.
- Experience in traveling interstate to deliver training sessions.
- Clear and concise communication of ICT Software and technical concepts.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Adapt training approaches based on group dynamics and individual learning styles.
- Proactively monitor feedback and identify training requirements.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively to ensure training material is current and relevant.
