Are you a seasoned Security Architect looking to make an impact in the heart of Canberra? We have an exciting 12-month contract opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
As a Security Architect, you'll design, review, test, and assure the technical environment, solution designs, and implementations in line with the latest security best practices. You'll play a pivotal role in building the cyber security architecture through consultations with internal ICT teams. Your main duties include maintaining cyber security monitoring and analysis toolsets and leading the efforts to secure our architecture.
Technical Skills Required:
- Mandatory:
- Experience with Sentinel or similar SIEM solutions
- In-depth familiarity with the Australian Government ISM
- Proficiency in security technologies like endpoint protection, firewalls, and IDS/IPS
- Extensive experience in Windows, Linux, networking, and system administration
- Experience with cloud security services (Azure or AWS)
- Desirable:
- Experience in cyber security monitoring and incident response within, or for, other Federal government agencies
