• 12 month Contract with 2 * 12 months extensions

Our Client is seeking an experienced Azure Engineer to deploy and maintain existing Azure Infrastructure, creating and contribute to existing technical doctrine and troubleshoot issues and solutions all within secure landing zone via the portal and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).


Key duties and responsibilities

• Work effectively across teams to provide systems expertise to enhance and improve existing solutions, including designing, developing, implementing, and testing solutions, in line with business requirements and software development standards.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to investigate and resolve complex issues with the operation of infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
• Work effectively with other teams to investigate and resolve complex issues with the implementation of the Azure platform..
• Assist the application development teams with the development and maintenance of DevOps continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.

• Knowledge and experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions consuming Azure services including, but not limited to: o Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) o Serverless Compute - Azure Functions, Web Apps o Storage - blobs, files shares, queues and tables o Integration - Service Bus and Event Hub o Identity - Entra ID (AAD), Azure B2C and Entra ID Connect, Service Principal creation. o API Management (APIM) - developing APIs, APIM maintenance and infrastructure
• Experience with managing, maintaining and migrating solution infrastructure to the Azure platform from on-premises or other private cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience with creating and maintaining solution infrastructure on the Azure platform including Identity maintenance and management (service principals, managed identities, etc) Patching Activities
• Proficiency in developing Azure DevOps CI/CD YAML pipelines for the deployment of Infrastructure using Bicep and/or ARM
