Clicks IT Recruitment is working with a Government client looking for a Microsoft Power Platform Developer.
In this role, you will lead the development of a new user interface using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy solutions that streamline data processes. Key responsibilities include integrating Power Apps with Dataverse, creating Power BI visualisations, and optimising data flows while ensuring security and compliance.
The Role:
- Contract duration: 9 months
- Location: Brisbane, CBD
- Rates: $128.67 p/h inc super OR + GST
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment of a Power Platform solution tailored to meet business requirements.
- Build integrations with Dataverse, data platforms, and third-party services using APIs and custom connectors to enhance system functionality.
- Create and embed interactive Power BI dashboards within Power Apps to provide real-time, actionable insights.
- Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and IT professionals to create effective data models and streamline data flows.
- Develop prototypes and technical documentation to translate business needs into functional, scalable designs.
- Implement solutions in line with data governance standards, security policies, and best practices.
- Perform thorough testing, conduct root cause analysis, and document resolutions to maintain system reliability.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce delivery time, and improve system performance through ongoing evaluation and optimisation.
Role Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and relevant certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer Associate or Azure) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in integrating Azure services like Pipelines, Dataverse, and Fabric to build scalable applications.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and environment management in an Agile delivery environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Experience applying Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices for efficient development and delivery.
- Must be eligible to work in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa).
