The Role As the Content Writer you will be working alongside a digital team in reviewing, assessing and rewriting online content on a large Website Enhancement Program. You will be responsible for ensuring content meets guidelines, standards and best practice for web content, including plain English and accessibility requirements (WCAG2.1) and with reference to content guidelines and editorial standards
Write and structurally edit accessible web content for customer, corporate and community audiences.
Liaise with subject matter experts across the business to ensure content accuracy.
Develop and deliver content that meets best practice plain English, accessibility, editorial and brand standards.
Use analytics and metrics to plan and create content that meets customer needs and business objectives.
Previous experience as a Content Writer
Demonstrated understanding of best practice for digital content, particularly with reference to plain English and accessibility (WCAG2.1)
Experience in writing and editing for the web within large and complex organisations
Have worked on sites with a range of complex policy and regulatory content
Prefer Tertiary qualification in communication or equivalent relevant experience.
You will be a team player who is customer focused
Ability to translate complex information into clear and simple language, in line with job stories
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
