A government organisation is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator. It is a 6-month contract with possible extension. The role will need to work in Eveleigh, Botany and some working from home.
This position will provide administrative and project support to the Project Manager and team involved in the development and delivery of the IT project across the state. The role contributes to a high performing team and acts to ensure planned tasks are organised, executed and communicated well.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and the team
Collaborate with the role supervisor, project staff and others in the department to establish and maintain procedures to support the administrative requirements of the project
Coordinate administrative tasks to support projects, including document productions and collation of materials, travel and accommodation arrangements, and meeting coordination including meeting minutes and documentation in a timely and effective manner
Assist with financial and workforce transactional activities, including purchasing, invoice processing, and time sheet management to support business requirements; ensure adherence to Departmental policies and processes
Provide high quality customer service by answering or redirecting of general enquiries received via telephone, email and other communication methods in an attentive and timely manner
Proactively identify opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness across the project and team
Establish and maintain filing and records management systems, including registers and databases; create and maintain appropriate records
Maintain support ticketing system; create, monitor and action tickets within defined SLAs
Requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Project Coordinator
Strong organisation and planning skills
Excellent customer service skills
Experience in setting up and maintaining the filing and records management systems
Demonstrated experience with financial and workforce transactional activities
Able to start ASAP
