Support and deliver on major program of works for NSW Government

About the Role
We are currently looking out for Junior - Senior level Java Developers withJava 8+, Springboot, Hibernate and SQL query experienceto deliver on major programs of work for NSW Government.
If you are a passionate developer with experience in migrating applications to cloud or keen in exploring cloud native development, we may have some good roles for you to be part of great fun loving and result oriented teams.
Guide developers & contribute to the creation of large and complex applications that will facilitate the success of this major program.
Experience required:
Extensive experience in Java development, Java 8+
Strong experience in Microservice and familiar with Microservice patterns is preferred
Must have hands-on development experience in AWS
Experience in Springboot v2.x , Spring Data/ Hibernate
Must be thorough in writing Unit and Integration tests for Springboot applications
Experience in GIT, nice to have Gitlab experience but not mandatory
Experience in SQL Queries, Oracle Queries
Good to have Kubernetes concepts and components understanding
Should know how to run Spring boot apps in Docker containers and tune docker configurations
About You
Be a hands-on developer while supporting team members and ensuring that delivered solutions meet the business needs and adhere to coding and design standards.
Have demonstrated experience in coaching and providing guidance and training to less experienced IT professionals.
Promote and support agile / scrum development practices
Be strong in forming collaborative relationships with business partners, professional stakeholders, 3rd party vendors and other team members.
Have excellent communication skills and be able to manage customer expectations
