About the Role: As a Website Designer, you will be responsible for leading the creation of high-quality, visually engaging designs that enhance the user experience of our energy price comparison website. Working closely with stakeholders, including project managers and developers, you'll ensure the website is both aesthetically appealing and functionally robust. Your role will involve:
Designing intuitive, engaging, and responsive web pages.
Developing wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups.
Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and branding guidelines.
Collaborating with a small project team to meet project objectives.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Website Designer, preferably within the government or public sector.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of website design projects.
Understanding of visual design, colour theory, typography, and user experience principles.
