Clicks IT Recruitment is working with a national safety organisational that plays a vital role in the safety of millions of Australians.
They are looking for a Senior System Safety Engineer to join a team that develop safety arguments, design the safety program; and lead safety activities (with a focus on applying suitable hazard identification and risk analysis methods).
Responsibilities:
Provide safety expertise and leadership to ensure that the changes to systems and process are compliant.
Develop and maintain key safety artefacts including Safety Plan, Safety Argument, Risk Registers and Safety Reporting documentation.
Plan, coordinate and facilitate the conduct of safety activities as defined in the safety program, including hazard identification, hazard analysis and risk assessment.
Identify and assess human factors risks to projects, with input from subject matter experts.
Key Experience:
Practical experience as a System Safety Engineer or Safety Change Specialist within a safety regulated industry (e.g. Aviation, Rail, Oil and Gas, Defence).
Tertiary qualifications in system safety, engineering, computer science, or related field.
Essential - Demonstrated experience applying industry best practice system safety analysis techniques/methodologies
Demonstrated experience developing safety arguments/safety cases for large scale, complex projects within a safety regulated industry.
Expertise in system safety engineering including executing core system safety analysis techniques (including PHA, FHA, FTA, HAZOP, FMECA, etc.).
Understanding of systems engineering processes, their influence on the timing of system safety engineering activities, and inputs/outputs that exist between the different disciplines that contribute to the systems engineering design process is essential.
On offer is a permanent role offering up to $127,115 + 14% superannuation, based in Eagle Farm.
