About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable and confident Level 2/2.5 IT Support Engineer who enjoys variety supporting end users, maintaining systems, and resolving network-related issues as part of a collaborative onsite team.
You'll provide both Level 1.5-2.5 desktop support and hands-on technical troubleshooting across Microsoft 365, devices, and proven networking fundamentals such as VLANs, switches, and VPNs. It's a perfect next step for someone ready to take ownership in a mid-level technical role without being bogged down in tickets all day.
This position is full-time onsite at the company's modern Northern Beaches headquarters and ideal for those living within 45 minutes of Mona Vale.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional end-user support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and general application issues.
- Configure and maintain network components including VLANs, patch panels, switches, and wireless access points.
- Assist with system administration tasks such as AD, Intune, and backup management.
- Handle user onboarding/offboarding and system access requests.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Contribute to small projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- 3+ years' experience in an IT Service Desk, Desktop, or Systems Support role.
- Solid technical grounding across Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals.
- Understanding of VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, and general switch administration.
- Familiar with MDM tools such as Intune or NinjaOne, and backup tools like Veeam.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder service skills.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must live within 45 minutes of the Mona Vale.
