Reporting to the Software Developer Team Lead, you will work with senior internal business stakeholders to build a shared understanding of expected outcomes, whilst managing competing priorities

You will be someone that enjoys working in a rapidly evolving and forward-thinking environment and will exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and the application of practices and procedures; in providing detailed technical, professional, and/or policy advice in relation to complex problems. You will be proficient in front end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript), programming languages (C#, PowerShell), databases (SQL, TSQL), reporting (SSRS, PowerBI), APIs, web services, mobile development and Microsoft Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, GitHub Advanced Security and more).



Key duties and responsibilities


  • Design and develop effective software solutions utilising best practice methods to meet business needs and provide recommendation for continued improvements
  • Contribute to System development including Smartphone applications
  • Perform analysis, maintenance, and remediation of existing systems, including providing support with technical or complex business requirements while contributing to automation
  • Contribute to the integration of software across multiple platforms and environments
  • Build effective relationships and negotiate outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting the ongoing improvements to development practices and security in line with the Information Security Manual (ISM).

    • Essential Criteria:

    1.Technical competence * Demonstrates the right skills and experience, a good understanding of the requirements and works in an agile way. * Technical competence is also determined by assessing the candidates against the requirements of the position.
    3. Experience * Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role. * Delivers on intended results and outcomes.
    4. Capability * Availability and capacity to undertake the role. * Ability to develop and contribute to innovative solutions. * Candidate demonstrates ability to resolve issues and involves others as appropriate.
    5. Supplier' management * Suppliers should provide details about their management capability and key personnel. * provide a price schedule.
