BI Developer (Brimbank City Council)

BI Developer - 3 Month Contract (Hybrid)

Join a collaborative Council environment where your expertise in BI and reporting will directly support community outcomes. You'll work with modern tools such as Power BI and Crystal Reports, enjoy hybrid flexibility, and be the go‑to specialist for reporting solutions that drive informed decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement BI solutions aligned with business needs
• Build and optimise Crystal Reports to support diverse functions
• Manage ETL processes and maintain data warehouses
• Write efficient SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide training/documentation for BI tools

Must have

• Proven experience as a BI Developer (3+ years)
• Strong skills in Power BI and Crystal Reports
• Proficiency in SQL Server and data modelling concepts
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure or other cloud database platforms
• Knowledge of ERP systems and API integrations
• ITIL V4 certification or equivalent experience
• Local government ICT experience
